Project Overview

Objective

Our goal was to replenish the Associate photo library with new images that would be used for a variety of internal communications, training, recruitment marketing, and social media purposes.

Project Plan & Key Milestones

Pre-Production

  • Inform all stakeholders of project plan & confirm timeline

  • Confirm list of targeted positions desired with HR Business Partners

  • Scout locations; conduct property walkthroughs/tours

  • Place calendar reservations on indoor meeting spaces with Property Manager

  • Build shot list and collect ideas

  • Build list of potential participants

  • Vet selected list of participants with HR Business Partners

  • Contact participants & managers to confirm interest

  • Organize confirmed participant list in spreadsheet

  • Host prep call with vendor photography team

  • Confirm talent/model pricing with agency

  • Submit inquiry to talent agency portal including casting call selections

  • Verify budget/invoice with talent agency

  • Provide shot list ideas and creative direction to photography vendor

  • Share logistics with confirmed participants & vendor

  • Prepare run-of-show document

  • Prepare release waivers for participants

Onsite Production

  • Collect signed copies of participant release waivers

  • Execute run-of-show & shot list

  • Direct participants & vendor team

  • Film Q&A-session social content videos during employee downtime

Post-Production

  • Collect raw photo assets from vendor & prepare any revision notes to share

  • Collect revisions and share any final revision notes (if necessary)

  • Collect and organize final assets in company's asset library

  • Distribute all highlight images/portraits to stakeholders and participants

  • Update marketing & communications materials as needed

Creative Direction

Vision

  • Photos should overall reflect the company's key brand tenets & value proposition pillars

  • Photos should be diverse, representing a balance of indoor/outdoor shots, individual/group shots, close-up shots/wide shots

  • Photos should include a diverse mix of employees from different roles

  • Photos should highlight the employee as the hero of the story, both in portraits and in their natural work environment

  • Photos should represent employees enjoying a “day in the life” in their roles

  • Photos should occasionally portray "negative space": Focused on the hero (employee), but also capturing the breadth of property and communicating the luxury of their workplace
